That’s completely natural. In that case,
we highly recommend a Beach Entry.
Instead of suddenly boarding a boat, we will enter the ocean slowly from a place where you can stand, matching your pace.
There is almost no need to worry about seasickness or strong currents, so you can truly relax and enjoy.
🏖️ Beach Diving
This is a style where you walk into the water from the beach without taking a boat.
You can fully enjoy the Miyakojima ocean, including tropical fish and coral reefs.
We offer flexible plans, such as diving right after arriving at the airport. Please feel free to consult us about anything you are worried about.

💡 If you’re going to dive, we highly recommend diving “twice”!
During the first dive, beginners often end up focusing too much on “breathing” and “ear clearing”, leaving no room to enjoy the scenery.
We don’t want you to end with “Oh, I was so nervous!”, but rather want you to go home deeply moved, thinking “The ocean is amazing!”
That’s why we’ve set a very affordable price for the second dive.
By the second dive, you’ll be more accustomed to it, giving you the leeway to leisurely observe the tropical fish and coral reefs. This is the true underwater stroll!
🚢 Boat Diving
Head out to the open sea by boat into a 360° underwater world.
You can enjoy various marine life from small to large, and the outstanding transparency of the offshore “Miyako Blue”.
*For safety reasons, Discover Scuba Diving cannot go to caves or depths beyond 12m.

👜 What to Bring
- Required: Swimsuit (please wear it before arriving), towel, sandals, change of clothes
- Useful to have: Sunscreen, sunglasses, motion sickness medicine, lunch box (for boat diving), drinks (we recommend bringing extra!)

Please call us as soon as possible for changes or cancellations after booking.
- Up to 3 days prior: No cancellation fee
- 2 days prior: 50%
- Until 12:00 PM the day before: 80%
- After 12:00 PM the day before – Day of: 100%
*No cancellation fee will be charged if canceled due to bad sea conditions, typhoons, or flight cancellations.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q I’m not good at swimming, will I be okay?
We start practicing in the shallow water where your feet can touch the bottom, and the instructor will hold and guide you underwater. You don’t even need to hold your breath, so you can enjoy just “floating and breathing” rather than swimming.
Q Can I participate alone?
You will dive one-on-one with an instructor or in a small group, so you won’t feel left out. Please join us without hesitation.
Q I have bad eyesight, what about contacts or glasses?
For glasses wearers, we have prescription masks (goggles) available, so please let us know when booking.
Q Can we dive on rainy days?
However, it may be canceled if the wind is strong and the waves are high, or if a typhoon is approaching. In that case, no cancellation fee will be charged.
Q Is there an age limit?
Minors need parental consent. Those over 60 or those with pre-existing medical conditions may need a doctor’s certificate, so please consult us in advance.
Q What payment methods are available?
Payment will be made on-site.
Q Can I board an airplane on the day of my dive?
To avoid the risk of decompression sickness, we do not allow boarding an airplane on the same day after diving.
Flights the following day are fine, so please be careful when planning your itinerary.
Q Are there showers and a parking lot?
After getting out of the ocean, you can freshen up before heading to your next sightseeing spot.
Q Can I participate during my menstrual period?
Since sea conditions and physical conditions can change, please don’t overdo it and feel free to consult us about changing your schedule.
Got Hooked on Scuba Diving…?
If you think “I want to swim more freely!” or “I want to dive again!”,
getting a license (certification) is highly recommended.

*We ask for your cooperation with the Churaumi Cooperation Fund (500 JPY/day, voluntary).
